An unused Hermès Birkin 25 made to personal order in Taurillon Clemence, Rose Azalée with Bleu Electrique handles, straps and edges, and gold hardware.
The Piece
Hermès special orders, recognisable by a small horseshoe stamp beside the house heat stamp, let a client compose a Birkin in two colours of their choosing. They are rarely offered and slow to make, and a well-judged colour pairing makes them the most individual Birkins in circulation.
Here the body is Rose Azalée, a vivid warm pink, set against Bleu Electrique, a deep cobalt, on the handles, straps, sides, piping and clochette, with a blue interior. Taurillon Clemence is a full, softly grained bull calf leather that relaxes slightly with use, giving the 25 a rounder, more supple line than Epsom.
The 25 cm Birkin is the size most in demand: easy to carry by hand, with an interior zip pocket and an open pocket. The gold hardware still carries its protective film.
Stamped D for 2019, with the horseshoe special-order stamp. Measures W25.5 x H21 x D13.5 cm, about 715 g.

Condition
- Unused, from boutique display.
- Very faint rubbing at the corners and inside the base from display.
- A slight press mark inside the interior pocket.
- Protective film still on the hardware.

Authenticity & Care
Leather, saddle stitching, edge finish and blind stamp are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch. Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Store stuffed and upright in a dust bag away from sunlight; Clemence prefers to be kept dry and away from heat.
