A new reproduction of the RAF Irvin flying jacket in British sheepskin, with a deep honey wool collar, cuffs and hem.

The Piece

The Irvin pattern was made for bomber crews who flew in unheated cockpits, and its wide wool collar, belted waist and cuffs that zip over the hand are still cut as they were. Here the black hide is lined throughout with thick honey sheepskin.

The jacket is unused, so the wool is full and the hide has not yet taken a wearer’s creases.
