Chrome Hearts x Tudor Oyster Prince Ref. 7964 Self-Winding Watch on Sterling Cross Ball Leather Cuff, Black Dial

A vintage Tudor Oyster Prince, ref. 7964, mounted on a Chrome Hearts black leather cuff studded with sterling cross balls and fastened by a 1995-stamped sterling buckle: Los Angeles leather culture meets Geneva's quiet workhorse.

The Piece

Chrome Hearts built its early reputation on leather and sterling for the motorcycle crowd, and in the 1990s a handful of clients commissioned cuffs to carry vintage Rolex and Tudor watches. These pieces were never part of a published collection, which is why they surface so rarely and why collectors in Japan pursue them with such intent.

The watch is a steel Tudor Oyster Prince, ref. 7964, with a black dial, applied baton indices, dauphine-style hands and the Rotor Self-Winding signature beneath the rose emblem. The Oyster case measures roughly 33 to 34 mm without the crown, a classic mid-century proportion that sits beautifully inside a broad cuff.

The cuff itself is heavy, pebbled black cowhide around 50 mm wide, framed by four sterling cross ball studs, with a slotted window that holds the watch's own strap. It closes with a substantial sterling buckle whose keeper reads Chrome Hearts 1995 Sterling, alongside a cross-detailed bar.

On the wrist it is a statement in the true Chrome Hearts tradition: weighty, tactile and unmistakable, yet anchored by an honest, serviceable Tudor movement.

• Leather shows scratches, marks, creasing and rubbing, with wear around the strap holes and keeper.
• Sterling hardware carries natural tarnish and light scratches.
• Steel case with fine scratches from use; a slight leather odour noted.
• Movement serviced history unknown; we recommend a routine service for daily wear.
