The Piece
Chrome Hearts was founded in Los Angeles in 1988 by Richard Stark, and its city-exclusive pieces, printed with the name of the store they were sold in, are some of the most collected items the brand makes. Los Angeles is its home, and the LA horseshoe hoodie is a quiet signal of a visit to the flagship.
This is the full-zip version in black cotton fleece. The back carries the large white horseshoe and cross crest with LOS ANGELES in gothic lettering, and a scroll label sits at the hem. A smaller horseshoe is printed on the left chest, a tonal CH monogram is stitched at the right front hem, and the inner hood is printed with the crest and 'Made in U.S.A.'. The zip is a heavy silver-tone track with the signature dagger pull, and the hood has a flat black drawcord.
Size XL is a relaxed, true-to-size fit with a slightly boxy body and long ribbed cuffs. It is the sort of everyday piece Chrome Hearts collectors wear hard and keep for years.
