Broche vintage de Chanel con triple CC en forma de cruz, tono dorado texturizado, otoño de 1994 (94A)

Three CC monograms interlaced into a quatrefoil cross, in the rough-cast gilt of Chanel’s Autumn 1994 collection. One of the great Byzantine-inspired brooches of the decade, 50 mm across and still crisp.

The Piece

The 94A collection drew on the Byzantine crosses of Gabrielle Chanel’s own jewellery box, the Verdura cuffs and the Maltese cross she wore to the end of her life. This brooch reinterprets that cross with the CC itself, three times over, in a hammered gold-tone surface that looks centuries old.

Worn on a coat lapel or pinned to a scarf, it reads as an heirloom rather than a logo.
