The Piece

Chanel’s early-1990s round logo sunglasses were made for a handful of seasons and have been chased by collectors and stylists ever since; they appear on magazine covers and on the street in equal measure.

This pair has been worn and shows it, as noted below, but the lettering is largely intact and the lenses are clear. It comes with the house case and is ready to be worn or framed.

Condition

• Good vintage condition: light surface marks and fine scratches, a slight warp to the right temple, and some fading to the printed lettering on one lens, as shown in the photographs.

The season stamp, the weight and finish of the metal, the plating, the stone setting and the clasp are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch.
