The Piece

The openwork dome is a 1990s studio design that borrows from the filigree of Byzantine jewellery, an inspiration Chanel returned to from Mademoiselle’s own Verdura cuffs onwards. The CC sits inside the cage rather than on top of it.

The pair is lighter than it looks because of the piercing, and the clips hold well. They suit a chignon and a collar.
