Chanel Oval-Link Toggle Bracelet, Gilt Metal, Early Vintage

Large oval gilt links closing with a toggle bar on a short curb chain. An early Chanel bracelet, 17 cm round and 3.2 cm wide, in the bold scale of the period.

The Piece

The links overlap like the rings of a mooring chain, polished and light for their size. A bar on a short curb chain fastens through the largest ring.

The reverse carries the Chanel stamp, and the toggle gives some ease of adjustment.
