A teardrop pearl suspended inside a block of clear resin, hung from a crystal-paved CC. Chanel’s 2019 play on the classic pearl drop, made for pierced ears and about 45 mm long.

The Piece

The P19K stamp places these in Chanel’s 2019 collections, when the house was reworking its pearl vocabulary in unexpected materials. Here the pearl is encased rather than strung, so it seems to float, and the crystal CC above it gives a small flash of light at the lobe.

They are light to wear and finished for pierced ears with a post and butterfly. One corner of a resin cube shows a small chip, noted below and shown in the photographs.
