The back shows one of them: an armored warrior with an imposing helmet and long spear on a black horse, rendered in black, silver, burgundy and gold, enclosed within a circular field of embroidered flowers, branches and birds, with gold botanical scrollwork and weapon motifs, the richness of a decorative screen or tattoo back-piece.
