The platform is shaped like a solid white block, and on its side a red cartoon speech bubble says Hi, with MY NAME IS YOHJI written beneath in hand-drawn capitals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbove the sole, wide black leather straps cross over the foot and wrap the ankle, fastening with a buckle. The construction is sturdy, so despite the height the sandal holds the foot securely and is surprisingly wearable. The Y-3 logo is moulded into the strap and the footbed, and the black rubber outsole has a deep tread.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wedge rises from about 5.8 cm at the toe to about 16.1 cm at the heel, giving dramatic height without a stiletto.
