The resulting collection, The Wind, translated Dyson's cyclonic technology into clothing: garments with air channels and vents, and fabrics woven with the profiles of fans, motors and cyclones. It was produced in very small numbers and is now a museum-level reference for the meeting of design and engineering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis jacket follows a motorcycle pattern, with an asymmetric zip, a snap collar, zipped cuffs and a belted hem, but it is made in Miyake's A-POC jacquard of silk and polyester, the dark metallic ground woven with ghostly drawings of Dyson parts. Round perforated vents sit on the chest and at the back hips, under domed flaps. Inside is the grey The Wind ISSEY MIYAKE + dyson label above the Issey Miyake label.
