The star grade printed on the shaft tells the tier at a glance, from two-star standard shafts to three-star premium builds and the gold-plated four- and five-star editions.

The IS-02, released in 2012, refined the BERES cavity iron with a deeper slot behind the face and a wider sole, so the ball launches high with little effort. This set runs 5 to 11 plus AW, 8 clubs in all, right-handed, on ARMRQ6 54 shafts in regular flex.

Details

Maker: Honma Golf, Sakata, Japan

Model: BERES IS-02, 2-star grade

Clubs: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, AW (8 clubs)

Shaft: ARMRQ6 54, regular flex

Hand: Right-Handed

Year: 2012

5 iron: 366 g

Origin: Made in Japan

Included: Clubs only; no head covers

Condition

Scratches and rubs from normal play.

Grips are playable.

Condition grade B (good, signs of use) on the Japanese scale; see Japanese condition ranks, explained.

Authenticity & Care

The serial numbers, head and shaft markings, star grade, loft and lie stamps, grips and finish are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch.
