We have been itching to post this sugoi video for a long time and here it is! This is such a fun fan tribute for My Chemical Romance! Who would have thought about mixing Japonista Sole and MCR music?! Too many exclamation points for this post and we’re not even done~!

“……… The song is a shortened version of Na Na Na by My Chemical Romance. They are our favorite band, and their album that this song is from has aesthetics that were also inspired and influenced by Japanese culture so we thought it would be appropriate to use our Japonista Sole kicks while doing a tribute video for them. They’re a very inspiring group for me and my friends, not only because of their music and art but also because of their heart. When the earthquake hit, they came up with a campaign called Sing It for Japan… so we thought of putting many things we love into one project and we came up with our video.

Their music video that we based ours on is this one. They made alternate personas for themselves and go around a post-apocalyptic world controlled by people who want the world to be static and uniform in black and white. We could relate to wanting to use art as a weapon to stand up for color and fun, so we made our own characters (and matched them with our shoes) and so that’s how our video came about.” – Jin (behindinfinity)

What do you think? We can only think of “awesome” to describe this! We were all shocked when Jin sent us the link of this amazing video. Didn’t quite expect that!

Also, you can read more about Death Berry here. Be amused!
