Japonista Fashion Style Suggestions

Submitted by on June 4, 2010 – 3:24 amNo Comment

Konnichiwa Japonista friends! Kaira-chan here, your resident fashion stylist (plus the webmaster / graphic designer of the Japonista Company).

Wearing my favorite sky blue / aoi sora jika tabi ~

I know many of you Japonista fans have been having thoughts on our funky tabi shoes like- “Those are crazy cool shoes, but how do I wear/flaunt them casually?” or “I want a pair but I’m afraid people would look at me weirdly..“. Well, fear no more for I have style suggestions for you (if you find our fashion photoshoots unconvincing..)~~

I have created a few sets in polyvore featuring different Japonista Sole pairs. Imagine yourself wearing these. I bet you’d become an instant headturner (in a positive way, of course) wherever you go! I’ve actually tried wearing a pair of jika tabi shoes and I did get a lot of looks / compliments because of it. And the major plus is… they feel very comfy! For some unexplainable reason, I felt a little jumpy wearing them. Probably because of the ninja vibes every pair has into it. Weirdly funny but true!

Featuring~ Kamakura Jika Tabi

Featuring~ Kawaii Pink Jika Tabi

Featuring~ Lovely Luscious Red Jika Tabi & Aoi Sora Jika Tabi Combination

(this is so Japonista!)

Featuring~ Fukuoka Jika Tabi

Featuring~ Osaka Jika Tabi

Also, I did some experimentation a few days ago. I was bored so I “remade” my plain black jika tabi.

The result?

Beautiful, isn’t it?

That would be all for now, keep the cool-turism alive!
