At last! The Japonista Team is proud to announce to official release of the promotional video entitled “The Japonista Legend”. It is hoped that this short film ala MTV can share a glimpse of the traditional elements of Japan mixed with the contemporary elements that characterize what is known to be as “Cool Japan”.

Takahiro Konno
In the spirit of the mighty Samurai, elegant Geisha and sneaky Ninja intertwined in a series of dramatic happenings set in Edo period, whose movie/film concept is based upon, the project boasts of promising talents and actors/artists in the following ranks: Takahiro Konno (Samurai), Naritomo Miura (Ninja), Youna (Geisha/Queen) backed up with the cuddly and cute threesome of Kunoichi Ninja Girls (Satomi, Manna, Hiropyon).
Naritomo Miura - Lousy Ninja
The story revolves around the three main characters and climaxes during the fierce fighting scene between the Samurai and Ninja in a fight for survival and authority in effort to kidnap the Queen.

The background musical score is provided in collaboration with the Mutsunokami Band who contributed the music in line with the pursuits and passion of the Japonista. The success of the project is not possible without their continuous and undying artistic support of our cause. The Samurai Rock Band is currently active in the underground scene based in Osaka, Kansai region, where they are challenging Wa or traditional Japanese music in a contemporary Visual Kei sense and approach.

Admittedly, this project hopes to exploit the fact the Japan is centered around these three main keywords that characterize the roots of its contemporary coolness.
- Samurai – for Bushido, graceful and artful fighting (bravery and courageous)
- Ninja – for Martial Arts and the overall mysterious image of Japan
- Geisha – for elegance, beauty, discipline and natural refined impact
